They say the best restaurants are found in side streets. Open in 1992, this family run gem is where tradition, quality and passion have not diminished with time. Lina’s by cuccagna warmly welcomes you to taste what most people say, one of the best home cooked traditional restaurants on the island.
At Lina’s we do our utmost to source local ingredients and work with seasonal produce to ensure freshness and high quality. Our daily specials include unique sharing dishes, hand made fresh pasta as well as seasonal fish and grills. Be on the lookout for our Rabbit set menu for a true Maltese experience and choose the maltese antipasto to taste authentic Maltese delicacies. The desserts are all homemade making sure you are left with a unique experience. We take pride in serving our guests with the best experience possible.
We are open evenings from Tuesday till Saturday from 6.30 pm. During busy periods we are also open on Sunday evenings and are able to accommodate private functions.
The venue does not allow children under five, including strollers or buggies, in order to ensure that patrons enjoy a quiet evening since young children may become restless in our environment.

Trust your private event in our capable hands! Be it a family get together, friends re union, or corporate event we are able to provide tailor made packages to suit everyone’s needs. We also provide outside catering with or without the venue.

Lina’s by La Cuccagna has been open for 26 years, however four years ago the manager Carla and head chef Charlene entered the outside catering market and this was an immediate hit!
Chef Charlene brought over her experience from the UK and even had the advantage of working in one of Gordon Ramsay’s establishments.
